Aristocrat Gaming, one of Australia’s biggest casino software suppliers, is pushing through on implementing its Oasis 360 management systems in the US. This after signing a deal with Shooting Star Casino Hotel and Entertainment in Minnesota at the beginning of October 2016.
A New Territory for Aristocrat Gaming
The casinos, operated by Star Casino Properties, are owned by the White Earth Ojibwe tribe, known as White Earth Nation.
The new deal, which will see nearly 20 000 pokie machines come under Aristocrat Gaming’s wing. This comes after many years of them trying to gain a bigger hold of the US market and in casinos at Indian reservations.
The deal with Star Casino is worth a staggering AU$1.8 billion and is Aristocrat’s second move into the US. They took over Video Gaming Technologies, a US casino software manufacturer, nearly two years ago.
Aristocrat Gaming Pushes Forward
The move is not only valid for Star Casinos’ current casino, the Shooting Star, but for their new Star Lake Casino which is set to open its doors in 2018.
White Earth and Aristocrat Gaming – A Perfect Match
White Earth Nation is the largest Native American tribe in Minnesota and has over 19 000 members across the globe. They are constantly expanding their operations. Currently, their 72 055sq foot Las Vegas-style casino floor has over 1000 pokie machines, 12 blackjack tables, and an enormous 365-seat Bingo hall.
Aristocrat Gaming’s Oasis 360 casino management system is the most widely used in the United States. This has put Australia on the map as one of the go-to sources for casino management software.
Oasis 360 allows casinos to offer dedicated service and support, monitor players, games, and the casino security in real time. This will help casinos predict their changing needs and help adapt to it.
The future looks bright for the Australian casino software market.
