The Australian businessman, Craig Wright, has admitted in a BBC interview that he is the brains behind the Bitcoin, also known as the “crypto-currency”. It has been a mystery for many years and many people have been speculating with some even suggesting that it may be a figure named Satoshi Nakamoto.
When interviewed, Mr. Wright said, “Some people believe, while some won’t and to the truth I don’t really care”. This was in response to people who did not believe that it is indeed he who invented the digital currency. The interview of Mr. Wright has been shared on YouTube for the people to finally know the Bitcoin inventor.
Mr. Wright even had to demonstrate that he is who he said he is by moving a single portion of a Bitcoin, also called Satoshi, from the initial block of currency dating from its inception. He further explained that although he may want to take all the credit, he had partners.
“I was the main part of it,” says Wright, “but other people helped me”.
Bitcoin takes the online gambling by storm
According to Mr. Wright, the Bitcoin idea started in 2009 with him and his friends. As soon as the plan was fully implemented, the crypto-currency took the digital trading by storm. Everyone who like trading online started using them for day to day transactions. Some people even called the Bitcoins the Satoshis, after the name that was suspected to be behind the online currency.
Since the lucrative Australian gambling market has some illegal traders, most websites started accepting the bitcoins as a method for making deposit. Some bookmakers who do not practice by the law and as results gets the players blocked from depositing cash, found the Bitcoin as a breakthrough since then this is an uncensored currency and the players have all the freedom to do what they want.
Bitcoins have become an alternative for online gamblers who are from the countries that do not allow betting or still regards it as illegal.
