There has been a lot of talk about Conor McGregor taking on the challenge of boxing, which differs highly from his mixed martial arts background. That is not the only new venture he is taking, however, as of late there has been news that McGregor has inked a new deal with Wynn Nightlife venues. This deal will see McGregor hosting events at both the XS nightclub and the Encore Beach Club in Vegas, over the next two years.
Not His First Rodeo with Encore Beach Club
This is not the first time McGregor has partied at the Encore Beach Club.
The first event for Wynn Resorts that McGregor will host is forecasted to be at Encore Beach Club. What makes it juicier, however, is the fact that this event will be held on the night following the August 26th fight. After hearing the news, Mayweather found it quite amusing that the space in which McGregor will be hosting, is known as the “Surrender” component to the nightclub.
What Do the Experts Have to Say?
After speaking with many fighting experts, the consensus is that McGregor’s chances of winning are very slim. Although sports bets seem to be favouring the underdog, Mayweather remains the favourite at -700 as opposed to his competition, McGregor, who is sitting at +500.
Many say that McGregor may not want to put on his dancing shoes after possibly enduring an embarrassing defeat by Mayweather. Mayweather holds a perfect scorecard when it comes to his career record, maintaining the title of unbeaten champ in all 49 of his fights.
Encore Club and Wynn Resorts is Confident
Throughout 2019, the deal between Wynn and the UFC fighter, states that he is required to host around four additional parties. These parties may either be held at the XS Nightclub or the Encore Beach Club.
When it comes to talks of ego, we know that McGregor does not fall short.
Despite this, it is the persona that McGregor displays at the events held to hype up crowds for the fight, which has convinced some bettor that he may have a fair chance. Las Vegas sportsbooks have confirmed that there have been several six-figure wagers that have been placed on McGregor. With a staggering 32:1 ratio of underdog bets to those on the favourite.
We at Casino Aus, look forward to seeing how this event will pan out and will further keep our readers updated.
