Crown Casino: The Development
Opened in 1994 on the north bank of the Yarra River, at the World Trade Centre the operators deicided that this location would be temporary whilst the actual glamorous casino was built. In 1997 the proper location at Southbank opened. The casino had many news filled nights with actress Rachell Griffiths infamously running through the casino topless on their opening night. The casino is open 7 days a week 24 hours for Christmas, Good Friday and Anzac Day being their only exceptions.

Water features appear both inside and outside the Crown Casino complex. They include the Seasons of Fortune, Southern Porte Cochere, Revelry, Brigades and Celebration. Water veneers the textured granite faces of six towers that are located on a promenade at the Crown Casino along the Yarra River in Melbourne, Australia.
