City of Dreams Mediterranean is an integrated casino resort that is currently under construction by Melco Resorts & Entertainment in Cyprus. Melco has partnered with a local company, Cyprus Phasouri (Zakaki) Limited to bring this Cyprus casino resort to the European country.
Both partners have put out posts to hire staff that will be working at the resort. These are the first batch of job opportunities that the company is posting. The available positions include dealers, slot attendants, finance, gaming machine supervisors, security and IT.
Cyprus Phasouri has put out posts mainly for the satellite casinos that will be operational later in the year. The four satellite casinos are located in Larnaca, Famagusta, Nicosia, Paphosand Limassol. However, Limassol is their temporary casino venue till the casino resort is operational.
Job Creation and Tourism Opportunities
The Cyprus Casino will bring a lot of job opportunities during its construction and when it is in operation. As much as 4000 temporary jobs will be created each year of construction. Once the Cyprus casino is complete, it is expected to have over 6500 people who will be working whether it is directly or indirectly.
At the moment, Cyprus is the country that receives a large number of international tourists in the country between the May and October period. Analysts have said that the casino resort will increase the number of visitors into the country by 300 000 tourists every year.
According to Melco, they plan on turning the Mediterranean country into an all year tourist destination.

This Cyprus casino is a €550 million (8651 million) integrated casino resort under construction in Limassol. It is expected to be launched in 2021. It will be located near the My Mall Limassol shopping centre. This shopping centre will be the largest of its kind in Cyprus. City of Dreams Mediterranean will be the first integrated resort to launch in Europe.
