New Online Casino Game: Heroes Gathering

The latest featured game at Joka Room is the newest release from Relax Gaming. Heroes’ Gathering is a unique new online casino game with a traditional slot grid but one made to look like its played on a flat surface like a board game.

Just released on February 4, it was excellent timing, considering Relax Gaming was on its way to winning a prestigious award. At the 2020 Gaming Intelligence Awards, it received the honor of being named the Poker Supplier of the Year.

Relax Recognition

The honors were announced in London at the famous ICE Expo. The 2020 Gaming Intelligence Awards are an industry standard, and Relax Gaming was honored to be recognized for its poker platform.

The Poker Supplier of the Year award took into consideration the poker offering that Relax Gaming provides exclusively to Kindred. Not only is it one of the most acclaimed platforms for its Jackpot SNGs, it leads in graphics and unique features. And Relax broke new ground in France last year by being the first to launch an online poker product.

Relax Gaming COO Martin Stalros commented, “Our achievements in the sector have been pronounced, and it is fantastic to be recognized for the hard work, dedication, and innovative thinking that has made Relax’s poker platform the most successful on the market.”

Latest Online Casino Contribution: Heroes’ Gathering

Since Aussies are more focused these days on internet casinos and the variety of online slot games available to them, it makes sense that Relax Gaming has a solid new product to offer.

Heroes’ Gathering is a board game transformed into a slot game. It offers a 5×3 grid that appears to play on a board game surface. The setting is a medieval one, filled with knights and amulets.

The music sets the stage for a trip back in time, and the sounds of weapons like knives and swords cut through the soundtrack to accent the symbols. The upbeat tempo is not overpowering but fits the game’s theme perfectly.

Payouts for Heroes’ Gathering

This new slot game offers 20 paylines and a maximum win of 400x the bet. The medium-variance game also offers an RTP (return-to-player) of 96.45%.

The lowest bet is $0.10 per spin, and the options increase up to $100.00 per spin as the max bet.

When playing at the lowest bet, the payouts for each symbol with five on a payline is as follows:

  • Knight = $2.00
  • Wizard = $1.50
  • Goblin = $1.00
  • Shield = $0.75
  • Spell book = $0.50
  • Knives = $0.50
  • Bronze coins = $0.40

Heroes’ Gathering Features and Gameplay

In every good game, there is a wild symbol. Heroes’ Gathering has a bright orange wild symbol that may substitute for any symbol on the reels.

The bonus symbol, which displays a rather vicious-looking weapon, triggers the bonus game. This is the game’s primary feature. The bonus symbol may land on the first, third, and fifth reels. Upon doing so, the player wins free spins that continue until one of the three amulets is filled.

There are three amulets located next to the grid, and they match to symbols as follows:

  • Gold amulet = matching symbols have a gold border (knight, wizard, goblin)
  • Silver amulet = matching symbols have a silver border (shield, spell book, knives)
  • Bronze amulet = matches with the three bronze coins

Each amulet has a pot of winnings that is awarded when that symbol group is filled. That prize is twice the payline wins.

There is another aspect to the bonus round. There is the wheel with numbers one through six. When that appears on a reel, it spins and awards the corresponding number of moves on the board that encircles the reels. That is the board game played simultaneously. The pawn moves around the board and awards the following:

  • Pawn lands on an amulet = an additional piece of the amulet is awarded.
  • Pawn lands on corner = multipliers of 5x, 10x, 20x, or 100x the bet size added to pots
  • Pawn lands on start position = all prize pots doubled
  • Full circle around the board = removes all collected pieces but prize pots remain

It sounds complicated, but it makes more sense when seeing it or playing it.

Where to Play Heroes’ Gathering

This game is quite fun and unique.

Regular gameplay offers excitement, but it intensifies during the bonus round. The combination of spin potential and action from the game piece moving around the reels takes this slot game to new heights. And the win possibilities are much greater during the bonus round.

Joka Room is featuring Heroes’ Gathering this week due to its partnership with Relax and the game’s quick popularity among players. Playamo Casino also offers the latest casino games from Relax Gaming.
