Stakelogic In 2021: From Mayan Rush to Hot 7 And Bandits

One of the premier online casino game developers in recent years has been Stakelogic. With more than 130 casino games now in its library, the company has grown to populate some of the most frequented gaming sites in the world.

Stakelogic developers were the creators of some of the biggest games of 2020, like Book of Adventure, Book of Cleopatra, Fruits Gone Wild, Lion Gold, Volcano, Dragons and Magic, and Voodoo Reels. It was an exciting year for Stakelogic, but more games have launched and are preparing for release just in the first few months of 2021.

Mayan Rush: January 2021

Stakelogic started the year in an ancient civilization, amidst Mayan temples and secret treasures. The adventure game offered these basics:

  • 5 reels, 5 rows
  • 3,125 paylines
  • 05% RTP
  • $0.25 min bet – $50 max bet
  • High volatility

The highest paying symbols in the game are the ones featuring the male and female adventurers, followed by the Mayan stone faces.

Each spin of Mayan Rush allows players to remove blockers from the reels. When the blockers are gone, the game automatically enters Rush Mode. Colored symbols that appear on subsequent spins then apply to the Multiplier Totem, which starts at 2x, or the Life Totem, which starts at one. Collecting five of a particular symbol increases the totem value, but losing spins deduct symbols from the totem.

Each allowance on the Life Totem allows for a losing spin without penalty, and the value on the Multiplier Totem will multiply each win.

Super Stake is a Stakelogic feature that players can turn on at the start of the game. Any losing spin may trigger it, which results in three respins. That feature puts a coin in the middle of the grid and subsequent coins remove more blockers. More coin symbols resets the respins to three, and accumulating 25 coins moves the multiplier up to 5x.

Mayan Rush is truly a rush, one that gives players constant action and features worth waiting for.

Mighty Joker Arcade: February 2021

Already showing its creativity, Stakelogic released Mighty Joker Arcade early this year. The theme is the joker mixing in with the traditional slot symbols like fruits and sevens. The game even looks just like a slot machine one might find in a casino, complete with buttons for Collect, Hold, and Choose Game.

  • 3 reels, 3 rows
  • 1 payline (5 paylines in top game)
  • 99% RTP
  • €12,000.00 max win
  • $0.20 min bet – $400 max bet
  • Low-medium volatility

There may be only one payline, but players can win with two or three of a particular symbol on that line. The highest-paying symbols are the joker and the bag of money, with the sevens, bells, and fruits (pear, watermelon, grapes) following. The plum is a bit lower for the payouts, with the apple lower still. The lowest-paying ones are the lemon, orange, and cherries.

Mighty Joker provides more options than a typical retro slot machine, though. Players can spin in the base game or up their wagers to the top game “Bet 4” or “Bet 20” options, the latter adding more jokers to the reels but also increasing the bets.

One of the main features is the Joker Mystery. Every spin collects 0.5% of the bet to put into that player’s jackpot, which must pay out when it hits €5,000. It can also hit anytime with the Joker Mystery. Players can win a Scatter Mystery anytime they find:

  • Two or three jokers on consecutive reels, starting from the left-most reel (1-coin bet)
  • Two or three jokers on consecutive reels, starting from the left-most reel (4-coin bet)
  • Any joker in any position (20-coin bet)

The Super Meter above the reels is another feature. Any winning combination in the base game automatically activates the meter. Players can then choose to collect that win (collect button) or transfer to the Super Meter. Players can collect Super Meter winnings at any point or gamble them.

These features are a bit complicated, but playing a few rounds makes it much clearer.

Wonderland Wilds: February 2021

In a bit of a take on Alice in Wonderland, Wonderland Wilds puts everyone from the main characters to the Cheshire cat and white rabbit. The animations are crisp, and the game tells its own story through regular gameplay and features.

  • 5 reels, 3 rows
  • 20 paylines
  • 6% RTP
  • 2,214x max win
  • $0.20 min bet – $400 max bet
  • Medium volatility

Alice is unsurprisingly the wild and the highest-paying symbol, though the queen ranks the same. The cat is next in the tier of payouts, with the Irish lad coming in at less, followed by the rabbit. Wilds can substitute for anything except the scatter.

Speaking of the scatters, they award free spins when three or more of them appear on a spin.

  • 3 scatters = 6 free spins with 3 feature picks
  • 4 scatters = 8 free spins with 4 feature picks
  • 5 scatters = 10 free spins with 5 feature picks

Those picks come up at the start of a bonus round of free spins. Players can click on any of the 18 objects available, and those will be associate with specific features available during the free spins. They include everything from extra free spins to multipliers, extra wilds and sticky wilds, and symbol substitutions (higher-paying ones replace lower ones).

Players who choose the Super Stake feature, a trademark of Stakelogic games, will be betting higher but will also receive extra feature picks at the time of free spins.

There may also be a Gamble feature. After every winning spin, the player can choose to collect the win or gamble it on a card color (red or black) to double their winnings or on a card suit (diamonds, hearts, spades, or clubs) to quadruple their winnings. However, one losing pick loses all the win money from that spin.

Hot 7 Hold & Spin: March 2021

This game is a mix between the old-style three-reel slot machine and a sevens-based slot with some extra dynamics. A lighted square surrounds the grid, and a fire burns behind it. The look is very unique, succinct, and oddly captivating.

  • 3 reels, 3 rows
  • 5 paylines
  • 3% RTP
  • €133,500 max win
  • $0.05 min bet – $100 max bet
  • Medium volatility

The symbols and their values are fairly straightforward, with the hot sevens worth the most. The next most valuable symbol is the bar, then the watermelon, strawberry and star, and the plum, orange, cherries, and black x round it out as the low-paying ones.

The primary feature in Hot 7 is in the name: Hold and Spin. If the player hits three silver and/or gold coins on the middle reel, the Hold and Spin feature begins. That middle reel locks with values on the coins, and the outer reels fill with feature symbols. The player then receives four free spins to try to add more coins. Any coin or diamond in a spin resets the spins to four.

The amazing kicker is that every time a new coin appears, the middle coins pay out again!

This game also features expanding wilds. Those may substitute for all symbols except the coins. It appears as a traditional wild but expands if it can create a bigger win. Three of them on a payline are worth as much as the hot sevens.

Bandits Thunder Link: March 2021

The very latest release from Stakelogic (today!) is a very new take on the Old West.

  • 5 reels, 3 rows
  • 10 paylines
  • 6% RTP
  • €500,000 max win
  • $0.10 min bet – $10 max bet
  • High volatility

This new game has top-notch graphics and mellow music, all to provide a backdrop for the base play and then the features. First, let’s get to the symbols. The scatters pay the most, up to $5,000 for five on a payline. The wilds pay half of that but can substitute for any symbol except the scatter. The next most coveted symbol is the sparkling gold bars, followed by the sheriff’s badge, the gun, hat, and horseshoe.

When the player hits three or more scatters, it triggers the bonus game. This is where the action is. The player can choose from one of three features:

  • Wild Wild Wins: 12 free spins with sticky wilds and a 2x multiplier
  • Wild Bonanza: 12 free spins with sticky wilds and multiplier wilds of 2x and 3x
  • Thunder Link: 3 free respins with unique Thunder Link symbols

The Thunder Link feature starts with the three respins, but any new Thunder Link symbols that land on the reels set the respins back to three. Each Thunder Link offers a multiplier. A lock symbol can appear and open an additional reel or two, to a maximum grid of 7×3. Other multiplier-type symbols in this bonus round choice include the revolver, money hat, safe, and dynamite. Get out your calculators because the wins can add up quickly.

Players can elect to click on the “Buy Bonus” at any time during the game to buy their way directly to the bonus round. The cost of the purchase will depend upon the amount of the player’s bet in the base game.
