New Online Casino Game: Chicken Party

Last week, it was snakes in the new game called Snake Arena. This week, it’s chickens. We take a look at the latest hot game to check out in Australian casinos: Chicken Party.

And it doesn’t go without notice that Booming Games released Chicken Party not long after Snail Race. Other 2019 games from the developer included Barnyard Twister, Cheeky Monkeys, Wild Ocean, and Golden Lucky Pigs. We see a trend.

Booming Games Stands Out

When looking over the catalog of games in the Booming catalog, it is apparent that the developer strives to be fresh and fun. Some of the themes may be familiar – witches, Aztec scenes, leprechauns, and pirates. But they all come with a unique spin (pun intended) and the latest in graphics technology to make the games stand out from their competitors.

Booming Games’ Director of Product Shane Cotter talked about the latest release, Chicken Party, as one big party…complete with excitable chickens and a Party Penthouse takeover.

Specifically, Cotter spoke of the game’s unique grid: “Join our excitable chickens in this unusual 4×4 slot, broken into a 4×3 reel layout with an independently spinning 4×1 reel up top in the chickens’ Party Penthouse.”

This is going to require some further explanation.

Booming Games - Chicken Party

Chicken Party Overview

A farmhouse holds the reels and is surrounded by wood fences, hay bales, and green trees with branches of leaves swaying slightly in the breeze. And the sun beams through the trees to make it a bright background for the game. Imagine a serene farm on a beautiful Australian meadow.

Of course, chicken feathers consistently fall from the barn, likely from the wild chicken parties. Aussie chickens know how to boogie.

The music is upbeat, with more of a new-age disco feel than a club vibe. But the chickens seem to like it and tap their feet to it occasionally.

Set up as a high-variance game, the RTP (return-to-player) is 95.07%.

Payouts for Chicken Party

There are 20 betlines in Chicken Party on the 4×3 grid with the extra row in the penthouse.

The minimum bet is $0.20 per spin and increases quickly to $0.40, $0.60, $1.00, $2, $4, $6, $10, $20, $40, $60, $100, and $200. That max bet is higher than most new slots in today’s online casinos and provides solid options for low-stakes and high-stakes players.

With a maximum payout of 2000x the bet, players have a lot of winning potential.

Starting with the minimum bet, though, here are the symbol payouts with four on a payline:

  • White chicken (red background) = $2.00
  • Wild (cracked egg) = $5.00
  • Dancing chicken (blue background) = $1.00
  • Serious chicken (green background) = $0.75
  • Feathers in A shape = $0.40
  • Feathers in K shape = $0.35
  • Feathers in Q shape = $0.30
  • Feathers in J shape = $0.25
  • Feathers in 10 shape = $0.20

Chicken Party Features and Gameplay

There are several fun features in Chicken Party.

First, there are egg-laying hens hiding in the top reel. When one appears in any position after a regular spin, the hen will lay eggs that turn into wild symbols on the mail reels. There may be no eggs, but there can be up to three.

Typically, foxes in a henhouse are discouraged. But in this game, Foxy appearing in any three positions at the top of the reels will award a multiplier for the current spin. That multiplier can be 10x, 25x, 50x, or 100x the bet. If four foxes appear, that means the player wins 2000x the bet from that spin.

Players will also be on the lookout for scatter symbols on that top reel. Three of them garner eight free spins, and four trigger 10 free spins. Free spins cannot be retriggered. However, during the bonus round of free spins, there are hens in all four of the top positions, and any number of them may lay eggs to turn into wilds after each spin.

Also, during the free spins, a disco ball comes down from the ceiling, and the DJ plays a version of “Stayin’ Alive” by the Bee Gees.

Where to Play Chicken Party

This is quite an entertaining game. The music is upbeat and catchy, and the chickens are fun to watch as the game progresses. The features don’t appear as often as most players might like, but they can be lucrative when they do. The foxes and free spins are the best chances of finding big payouts.

Joka Room always receives Booming Games’ latest releases, as do Playamo Casino and Bonza Spins. Joe Fortune does offer games from Booming Games but has yet to pick up Chicken Party. It is likely they will bring the partying chickens to their video slots library very soon.
